GP Strategies Acquires China-Based Communication Consulting

Elkridge, MD. February 15, 2011. – GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), announced that its principal operating subsidiary, global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), has acquired Communication Consulting, a China-based training and consulting company with offices in Shanghai and Beijing, China, and Haryana(New Delhi) in India.  Communication Consulting designs and delivers customized training solutions and specializes in the areas of leadership, communication skills, sales and customer service training. 

Since 1995, Communication Consulting has helped enable staff, promote cross-cultural understanding and develop leaders through their professional training programs that are available for delivery in Chinese and English.  

Scott Greenberg, Chief Executive Officer of GP Strategies, stated, “The expansion of training services in China is a key initiative of the Company and the acquisition of Communication Consulting provides us with a strong foundation to serve our  multi-national customers with operations there.
