Global performance improvement solutions provider GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX) today announced that its Bloomington, IN office (formerly known as Option Six) has reached a milestone of 100 employees, making the Bloomington office one of the largest learning development centers for GP Strategies.
The Bloomington office has experienced consistent growth over the last three years and recently expanded into a new 2,000-square foot location down the hall from its main office suite in the CFC Showers Plaza complex.
Aaron West, Executive Director of the Bloomington office, credits the workplace and employee expansion to the addition of key clients in the financial, hospitality, food & beverage and retail industries. West said, “One of our primary drivers as an organization is to provide our community with employment opportunities that support Bloomington’s economic growth. We’ve been fortunate over the last 12 years to help achieve that goal.”
GP Strategies also received two Brandon Hall awards recently. The awards were given to the Bloomington office for Best Learning Team and Best Use of Mobile Learning. Additionally, the office was named a “2013 Top Workplace” by the Indianapolis Star in its annual employee survey, an honor achieved in 2012 as well.
GP Strategies expects to hire additional instructional designers, content developers, media developers and other supporting roles this year, in the Bloomington and Indianapolis areas.
