Federal Acquisition Institute: Executive Summary and Orientation Presentation

Client Need:

The Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) provides information, management tools, and training opportunities to federal acquisition specialists. It works to improve the acquisition process and assist agencies with recruitment of qualified candidates for acquisition fields. The FAI wanted to develop an Executive Summary for the Federal Acquisition Certification – Contracting program. The agency secured GP Strategies™ to create a 15-minute multimedia presentation introducing the contracting certification process to individuals in the contracting workforce.

Solution:

The FAI engaged us to develop a 15-minute multimedia presentation that is relevant to both the contracting workforce and managers of contracting professionals. The Executive Summary incorporates narration, music, eye-catching Flash animation, and text to capture the attention of the user and provide motivation for continuing the presentation. We developed the presentation so that target audiences can be exposed to the Executive Summary in several different ways. The individual can:

  • View the Executive Summary independently on a laptop or desktop computer.
  • View a segment of the Executive Summary playing as a “loop” at a conference or other public event.
  • View some or all of the Executive Summary during a speaker presentation
