ACAD Basic Curriculum
Take advantage of the industry’s leading training product*, used by over 65% of all commercial nuclear sites in the US, to help your company meet the training and qualification requirements of your nuclear power plant personnel. This program meets the requirements of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO).
*GP Strategies’ ACAD Basic Curriculum (ABC) program is designed for the new and beginning student. There are example problems in the student text and practice exercises at the end of each chapter to ensure comprehension and effectiveness.
In addition to training new hires, materials can be used as a refresher to prepare licensed operator candidates who have been away from any fundamentals training before entering into our Generic Fundamentals (GF) program.
Training materials in this program are designed specifically to prepare candidates for the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Generic Fundamentals Examination.
This program meets the requirements addressed in the Knowledge and Abilities Catalog for Nuclear Power Plant Operators: PWR (NUREG-1122) and the Knowledge and Abilities Catalog for Nuclear Power Plant Operators: BWR (NUREG-1123).
