Elkridge, MD. March 13, 2008 — Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), the operating subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), was selected by the Government Online Learning Center (GoLearn) to implement, configure, launch, and host one of the DOJ’s Learning Management Systems (LMSs), which has been named “LearnDOJ.” GP provided the same range of services in January 2005 to the DOJ Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). GP has leveraged its experience with ATF’s LMS and infrastructure to implement the consolidated training system, LearnDOJ, for more than a dozen DOJ agencies.
GP has implemented LearnDOJ for the following agencies: U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Justice Management Division (JMD), Antitrust (ATR), National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC), Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), Assistant Attorney General for Administration (AAGA), International Crime Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), U.S. Parole Commission (USPC), Office of Violence Against Women (OVW), and Community Relations Service (CRS).
As part of its support for LearnDOJ, GP’s Knowledge Management Solutions unit has conducted stakeholder workshops, consulting sessions, and data migration, and integrated the DOJ’s Human Resource interface with the LMS. GP has also provided on-going project management and technical support to LearnDOJ after the implementation. Additionally, GP provides hosting services for LearnDOJ, including 24×7 monitoring in a secure certified and accredited facility.
