Manufacturing

The plant floor is changing fast. We make sure your people are ready for it.

Why Manufacturing Demands a Different Approach to Learning

Manufacturing workforces are under pressure from all sides, all at once. Automation is reshaping roles, skilled labor is harder to find and faster to leave, and digital transformation is arriving on the plant floor before the workforce is ready for it. Safety and quality expectations keep rising while the window for ramp-up keeps shrinking—and the consequences of capability gaps show up fast in downtime, rework, and inconsistent execution.

What Manufacturing Organizations Are Up Against

Most manufacturers don’t struggle to see the need for a more capable workforce. They struggle to build the infrastructure, governance, and strategy to make learning sustainable at the pace operations demand.

Common realities we see:

How We Serve Manufacturing Organizations

Manufacturing workforces need support that keeps production moving while skills, systems, and roles keep changing. Our solutions are purpose-built for industrial environments—anchored to real work, real safety requirements, and real performance standards.

Automotive Manufacturing: Specialized Workforce Support

Within manufacturing, automotive requires its own workforce lens. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, retail networks, and service organizations are managing electrification, software-driven vehicle complexity, evolving quality expectations, and trade uncertainty all at the same time.

GP Strategies brings decades of automotive sector experience—supporting organizations that need to accelerate onboarding, prepare teams for electric vehicles (EVs) and product transitions, improve supplier capability, and maintain performance in a rapidly changing industry. We combine technical training, onboarding, quality capability, and product transition support so the workforce is ready when the market is ready.

Our Approach:
Speed, Relevance, and Quality

Rooted in Learning Velocity™, our approach ensures manufacturing workforces can adapt faster than operational and market conditions change.
Speed

Rapid capability deployment that supports operational change and faster ramp-up without disrupting production.

Relevance

Programs built around how work actually happens on the plant floor—site realities, safety requirements, and performance standards.

Quality

60 years of proven industrial expertise, enhanced by GP AIQ+™, designed to drive readiness and operational performance.

Proven Results in Manufacturing

Creating Brand Momentum for Mercedes-Benz USA.

When Mercedes-Benz USA needed to build excitement and deepen understanding of their new brand and product strategy, GP Strategies designed, developed, and produced a three-day brand immersion experience. The program became a multi-year initiative spanning Mercedes EV product launches—including a full redesign of the Mercedes-Benz Visitor Museum into the EQ Explorium—featuring interactive exhibits, a VR experience, a gamified digital event guide, factory tours, and a series of driving competitions.
