GP Strategies Appoints New Head of Asia Pacific Region

COLUMBIA, Md., Feb. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Global performance improvement solutions provider GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX) announced today that it has appointed Tony Mok as Vice President of the Asia Pacific region. Tony will have responsibility for day-to-day management and oversee and deepen customer relationships to ensure optimal development of strategic learning programs as well as uncover new business opportunities.

This strategic hire is part of a key initiative to provide customer support for GP Strategies’ rapid expansion of operations and support centers in the region. For more than 10 years, Tony has led learning organizations creating learning solutions that align with strategic business goals.

Prior to GP Strategies, Tony was a Senior Vice President, Leadership Development, at Temasek Management Services (TMS) Academy in Singapore. Before TMS, Tony was the Head of the Asia Learning Centre at Thomson Reuters, where he led a team responsible for the learning and development of all their front line staff in Asia. Before that, he spent a decade in investment banking relationship management training with ABN AMRO including a two year rotation as a Senior Training Advisor in ABN AMRO Academy where he was responsible for all investment banking and relationship management training in Asia Pacific. His last position was Senior Relationship Banker and Head of the Consumer Industries Group covering Hong Kong and China.
