ELKRIDGE, Md., April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Global performance improvement solutions provider GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), and KEPCO Plant Service and Engineering Company, Ltd. (KEPCO KPS), a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), have entered into a license agreement making available to KEPCO KPS the latest generation of GP Strategies’ GPM PRO maintenance technician training course materials. KEPCO KPS, one of the world’s leading power plant service companies, will use GPM PRO maintenance training course materials to train mechanical, electrical and I&C technicians to service KEPCO KPS power generation plants in Korea and to support the start-up of four nuclear power plants in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Following nearly 12 months of review and evaluation, KEPCO KPS selected GP Strategies to provide courseware licenses for 48 mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation & control (I&C) maintenance courses. Course materials include detailed and illustrated student guides, instructor guides, instructor presentations, written exams and hands-on lab guides. GP Strategies is also providing five weeks of GPM PRO Train-The-Trainer instruction to KEPCO KPS mechanical, electrical and I&C instructors at our Tampa, Florida, Training Center.
