The following news was released prior to LEO Learning joining GP Strategies.
The honor is the latest in a string of accolades received by LEO Learning from Training Industry, including recognition as a top training outsourcing and content development company.
LEO Learning, the market leader in innovative digital learning solutions, has been named in Training Industry’s Top 20 Gamification Companies List for the second year in a row. The honor recognizes LEO Learning’s more than 30 years of experience pushing the boundaries of eLearning into areas of play and immersive experiences.
In addition to award-winning learning games for Godiva and LOMA, most recently, LEO Learning partnered with a global mining company to simulate a hazard experience with the goal of reducing risks and enabling deeper learning.
“LEO Learning created a realistic emergency situation using virtual reality,” said Danielle Draewell, market research analyst at Training Industry, Inc. “The simulation collects xAPI data streams that analyze behaviors, which organizations can use to model safety processes and procedures.”
The honor is the latest in a string of accolades received by LEO Learning from Training Industry. This year alone, LEO Learning has already been identified as a 2019 Top 20 Training Outsourcing Company and a Top 20 Content Development Company for the third consecutive year.
“This recognition from Training Industry reaffirms our commitment to transform the digital learning experience and deliver effectiveness as a performance changer.” said Andrew Joly, Director of Strategic Design at LEO Learning. “For a while we have promoted play, learning games and gamification strategies to deliver deeply engaging and meaningful learning experiences. We see these as a key component, along with custom eLearning, video and animation, of a successful blended strategy, reflecting how people learn and enjoy the learning experience. Games and gamification strategies continue to deliver measurable and impactful results for both the learner and the clients, and we will continue to innovate to build on our success.”
Training Industry, a research and information resource for corporate learning leaders, prepares the Training Industry Top 20 and Training Industry Watch List reports on critical sectors of the training marketplace to better inform professionals about the best and most innovative providers of training services and technologies.
Selection to the 2019 Training Industry Top 20™ Gamification Companies List was based on the following criteria:
- Gamification features and capabilities
- Innovativeness of offerings
- Company size and growth potential
- Quality and number of clients/users
- Awards, recognition and competitive differentiation
“This year’s Top 20 Gamification Companies continue to showcase the latest gaming designs and concepts to corporate training, making them engaging and entertaining for the learner, while focusing on moving the needle on their clients’ KPIs,” said Ken Taylor, president of Training Industry, Inc. “These companies are enhancing their products and services, including training simulations, serious games and leaderboards. Learners can compete against each other or participate individually in an interactive experience that rewards learning and development.”
