World-renowned CLO joins Learning Technologies Group

Multi-award-winning author and workplace futurist, Karie Willyerd, joins Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) in the newly created role of Chief Customer Strategy Officer

LONDON–6th September 2022–Karie Willyerd, former Chief Learning Officer (CLO) at Visa, has joined Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) as Chief Customer Strategy Officer.

The newly created role will further enable LTG and GP Strategies to support customers move toward a new era of learning and talent transformation. Willyerd’s responsibilities include helping our customers with their learning and talent strategies.

With over 30 years of experience in learning and development, Willyerd was most recently the CLO of Visa. Previous leadership experience includes senior roles at SAP, Sun Microsystems, Heinz and Lockheed Martin.

Willyerd’s extensive experience has seen her contribute to winning over 50 awards across various organisations. Recognition includes first place in the coveted ATD rankings – first with Sun Microsystems and most recently with Visa University in 2022. In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Willyerd is a best-selling author with a doctorate in business management from Case Western Reserve University.
