Elkridge, MD. November 28, 2007. Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), the operating subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), has completed the implementation, configuration, and launch of the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Learning Management System (LMS) under a contract with GoLearn. The Treasury LMS serves as the consolidated training system of record for the Department.
GP deployed the Treasury LMS ten days ahead of schedule using an implementation methodology that allowed the Treasury’s LMS administrator the opportunity to make final modifications to the system before end users were given access. GP’s methodology provided an environment with multiple servers to facilitate the implementation.
GP’s Knowledge Management Solutions Group conducted stakeholder workshops and consulting sessions, performed data migration, and integrated the Treasury’s Human Resource interface with the LMS. Additionally, GP is providing hosting services, which include 24x7x365 monitoring of the LMS in a secure, certified, and accredited facility.
