The Vichy Laboratoires brand is dedicated to supporting women throughout every life stage, harnessing deep medical expertise to understand the intricate relationship between hormonal changes and skin and scalp health.
For over 20 years, Vichy Laboratoires has gone beyond skincare to address the taboos and stigmas surrounding menopause by providing education about the menopause journey and partnering with experts to improve healthcare.
The Challenge
An extensive epidemiological study found that 72% of women feel that hormonal changes negatively impact their overall wellbeing. Additionally, research from a KANTAR quantitative study conducted in October 2022 revealed that two out of three women struggle in silence when dealing with hormonal changes and report feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or uninformed.
Recognizing the critical need for education and to “free the talk,” Vichy Laboratoires embarked on a new brand initiative aimed at changing perceptions about hormonal changes. In response, Vichy Laboratoires created a platform to raise awareness and help women thrive at every stage of life by providing trustworthy information about women’s hormonal changes to everyone who needs it.

Community-Driven Solution

Vichy Laboratoires and the UK charity, Wellbeing of Women, partnered with GP Strategies to create “Hormonall: Together for Women’s Wellbeing,” a cutting-edge, mobile-optimized learning platform available in nine languages.
A selection of shareable content assets that encourage individuals to open the conversation beyond the platform and free the talk.
Designed for women seeking guidance as well as those wanting to support them, the initiative includes:

An Award-Winning Campaign
The Hormonall initiative has made a significant impact so far and continues to grow.
- Over 150,000 users have engaged with the platform since its launch in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Canada, and Germany.
- More than 30,000 users have started at least one of the four eLearning modules.
- More than 11,000 individuals have completed training, equipping them with practical knowledge to manage hormonal wellbeing.

Hormonall has also successfully created a community of women who are sharing their experiences and helping to free the talk about hormonal changes.
“I don’t have any friends to converse with about these changes, and the e-platform is like a friend. Finally, someone gets me!”
“Before accessing this platform, I had nowhere to turn. I was way too embarrassed to seek advice and information and especially not from a medical professional.”
“I feel that my knowledge on and confidence in dealing with hormonal changes has changed after using this e-learning platform. I feel as though I know what happens and the steps I can take to ensure healing of my body and mind.”
“Learned a lot and feel more confident now as I know it is normal to feel what I was feeling. I wish I would have received this before postpartum.”

The Hormonall program won two Gold Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards in the categories of Best Custom Content and Best Corporate Outreach to Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in Communities. The program also received a Bronze International E-Learning Association (IELA) Business Award for Online Learning Experience.
The Hormonall program also achieved a truly exceptional milestone: it was officially endorsed by the French Government under its national “Toutes et Tous Egaux” (All Equal) initiative, which aims to ensure equality between women and men and to raise awareness about workplace and healthcare inequality issues. This is an unprecedented recognition for a private-sector program and highlights the deep importance of Hormonall’s mission.
Due to its overwhelming success, Vichy Laboratoires will be expanding the program to additional countries and through various channels, including their internal training program, workplace medicine, menopause-focused events, and NGO partnerships in each country.
