February 3, 2009 – Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), announced today that it has been awarded a contract to develop training materials for residents, businesses and responders in Cuyahoga County. The preparedness training relates to shelter-in-place and evacuation decision-making and implementation.
GP completed the first phase of the four-phase project during 2008, and is currently developing courseware and conducting focus groups as part of phase two of the project. Phase three entails developing detailed training materials and the final phase involves the development of an implementation and sustainment plan for the county.
